Zonifero: From Internal Application to Global Property Management Platform

The history of Zonifero dates back to 2017 when an application was developed within the Białystok-based company SoftwareHut to assist new employees in adapting to their roles. Originally designed as an office map with resource booking and employee communication features, the solution quickly gained recognition beyond its parent company. It became clear that the product addressed challenges faced by other businesses, and after some adjustments, it also met the needs of developers. The decision to commercialize the solution led to the establishment of Zonifero S.A. as an independent company in 2020.

Today, Zonifero is a rapidly growing technology platform offering comprehensive tools for property management. The company operates not only in Poland but also internationally, implementing its solutions in seven countries, from France to Singapore. Notably, Hungary became the first country outside of Poland where Zonifero debuted in office buildings.

Modern Functionalities for the Offices of the Future

Zonifero provides innovative tools for tenants of office spaces. The platform allows users to manage parking, book desks, conference rooms, and other resources, handle guest services, organize hybrid work, and communicate with tenants and employees. Advanced analytics enable users to monitor office space usage and optimize management.

One of Zonifero’s key strengths is its ability to integrate with other systems, such as HR tools, access control systems, parking management solutions, electric vehicle chargers, or smart furniture like lockers or reception parcel lockers. All functionalities are accessible through a single mobile application, making the tool simple and intuitive to use.

Addressing Modern Market Challenges

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the transformation of the commercial real estate sector, including the adoption of solutions such as desk booking and hybrid work organization. Zonifero naturally aligned with these changes, offering tools tailored to the new realities. As various aspects of life and work move online, the role of offices is shifting – they are less about being essential for daily tasks and more about fostering collaboration and building relationships.

The company’s CEO, Jacek Ratajczak, emphasizes that openness to partnerships and actively listening to market needs are crucial for Zonifero’s development. “Our clients and partners decide what Zonifero will be in two, three, or five years,” he highlights.

International Expansion and Ambitious Plans

Aiming for global expansion, Zonifero became the first Polish company to join the REACH UK accelerator program, which supports technology companies in the real estate sector. Participation in this prestigious program opens new development opportunities and supports the company in achieving its strategic goals.

In the future, Zonifero plans to further develop its innovative technological solutions, support the digitalization of the real estate sector, and continue expanding into new international markets. The company remains committed to delivering solutions that promote sustainable development and efficient property management in a modern world.
