ESG doesn't have to be just about additional responsibilities and costs. ESG standards are also new opportunities to develop and build completely new business models.

Today we will try to convince you, dear readers, of this using the example of the Pure City business model Case Study.

What is Pure City?

It is an urban outdoor advertising network offering energy-sustainable marketing communications through the use of advertising screens integrated with electric car chargers powered by electricity from RES.

What marketing activities can you boast of? How are companies responding to your offerings?

As Pure City, we are very proud of our social campaign called “Small Change, Big Impact,” which we are implementing together with our content partner United Nations Global Compact.

This is a social campaign that shows what each of us can change in our daily lives to fight climate change. The information is given in a simple way on our advertising boards to build widespread public awareness.

And as far as companies are concerned, we have noticed a very high interest and understanding of the values we present, so we have been able to attract partners to our campaign. Brands such as Carlsberg, Leroy Merlin, Allegro Locally are participating in our social campaign by showing the possibilities of climate protection using their product offerings. We can save a lot of energy AND resources through activities such as buying glass bottles, thermo-modernizing buildings or giving a second life to our clothes and items. We hope that more companies will not only join in sustainable energy marketing communications, but look at their offerings and come up with environmentally beneficial solutions.

Climate change is a very serious issue, but changing daily habits or a company's entire business model is not easy either. However, if each of us join the fight against climate change AND make small changes to our lives AND business then together we will achieve a great effect!
